This photograph was taken on the wind-torn Beecher Creek trail in Burnaby, BC. Several trees had been uprooted as a result of a series of wind storms that hit the Pacific Northwest in late 2006. Many of the trees which still stood did so precariously, threatening to topple should another storm hit the region.
