This photograph was made during a whale watching tour near Vancouver Island, BC. The tour exceeded my expectations, despite only vague glimpses of a grey whale.
The zodiac ride was an experience all in itself. The weather was somewhat overcast and windy, and the small open boat traveling at high speed made for a wet, bumpy ride.
